Originally
hailing from the far north of the deep south, VIC-based trio, Grumpy
Neighbour have been peddling their beer-swilling toe tappers,
beer-spilling footstompers and beer-dilutin' tearjerkers up and down
this country’s expansive highways since early 2003. Purposeful lyrics
and strong, folky melodies are delivered with country-fried three-part
harmonies and slick, back verandah instrumentation. Grumpy Neighbour
have three full-length releases in their online store front, with their
latest, “Judas Ute” officially released in late 2011. Songs from the
heart mixed with bullshit from the hip all the way from Burnie to
Brisbane and back.
